LET'S DREAMING, WHY NOT!!
MOTO GUZZI STELVIO
Today let's talk about something special when im visit Kuala Lumpur Autoshow 2013. Why not, im dreaming for Moto Guzzi Stelvio. By the way, story about the Moto Guzzi company, its an Italian motorcycle manufacturer and the oldest European manufacturer in continuous motorcycle production, And Moto Guzzi Stelvio, it's a very latest version of an Italian adventure bike that is a characterful alternative
to the ubiquitous BMW GS series. Follow by, Moto Guzzi Sales Person today, Moto Guzzi had all the ingredients to take on BMW's iconic – and, more
importantly, best-selling – R 1200 GS adventure bike: a big, air-cooled
twin-cylinder engine, shaft drive and a single-sided swingarm were already
features on several other Guzzis. Last year the old Italian factory finally
mixed these into an off-road-styled chassis to create the Stelvio, pitched
directly at the German machine and intended to take a useful slice of its huge
sales.
Most Stelvio owners will use their bikes for touring, which is what most BMW GS
riders do. For this, the Stelvio is thoroughly convincing, offering all-day
comfort from an upright and spacious riding position with plenty of seat room
for a passenger. However, the panniers compromise the pillion's foot space and
they can only be opened using the key – if you want to get something out you
have to switch off the engine, or keep the pannier key separate. That's so interesting for the value RM89,888...
The Stelvio will be much rarer, yet it's as capable as the GS. It doesn't have the badge or quite the presence of the German machine, but it's a worthy alternative.
