Today, me & small group of bikers friend are visited the Temuan village at Negri Sembilan. Very interesting to look at the original life of them. Temuan are actually a
synthetic group, a genetic fusion of several aboriginal tribes with Sumatran
and Javanese migrants. The
Temuan language can be considered the original Negri Malay dialect believed to
have been imported from Jambi, southeastern Sumatra.
The Temuan are the third
largest tribe of the nineteen Orang Asli people groups living in Peninsular
Malaysia. The
Temuan villages (between 50 to 500 people) are found on the lowland valleys of
districts in the states of Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Selangor, and
Johor.
