Wear & Tear: Recoil My Versys 650 after mileage 52000 km

Brother & Sister,

Since 3 month ago i have started notice my volt indicator

is showing a lower numbers especially during the idling.

My 4 years old versys idling such as:

a) Normal idling: 11.9 volts

b) With sports light idling: 11.2 volts

Since October 2015:

a) Normal idling: 11.5 volts

b) With Sports light idling: 10.5 volts

I have ask a few big bike mechanic and the answer i received is same; means my coil is already started burning.

Usually a normal bike coil can last until 40k to 50k kilometers. If more then that you are lucky (this statement only refer to Versys 650 year 2011).

Its a disaster if the coil already totally burn and you motorbike will immediately stop. Just imagine your bike suddenly stop at the middle of highway under a hot sun or at the middle of night alone near huge empty house creepy and accompanied by the barking of a wolf from the hill.....

At this stage, only tow truck can help you to workshop if the line phone is OK laaa .... i have seen a lot of sad story at FB.

In the market there is 2 option i can choose to suit my wallet. 
Such as:

a) New Coil (kawasaki) + gasket + installation = RM900.00

b) Recoil (local workshop) + gasket + instalation + engine oil (Motul) + oil filter = RM600.00

Then i choose (b) as my best option at the moments after all bro Zadi Cycle (a local workshop) tell me - saya sudah pasang beribu coil untuk macam macam model motor sejak tahun 80 an lagi ... nanti 35k kita jumpa tukar coil lagi laa ... bukan mahal ponn (i already install thousand of coil in a different model since erlys 80' ... next 35k we meets again to recoil ... cheap cheap ones)

What ever its is, i have done the priventive mantenance on my Versys.

After changes i can feel:

1) More power on  the head light ang sports light.

2) Easy starting in one click at the suis ignitions during morning or after a long kept (remember i am a weekend rider).

3) Can feels more power and light on the engine during riding on the high way.

4) That means i can RIDE more millage with a peace of mind.
