Ride to Alai Villages

Hei there ...

Today i will continued my journey to Alai Villages, Gerik Perak.
Its my buddy home town - Bro Ady Photaram.








Alai Villages, Gerik Perak

About a hundred years ago, the area known as Gerik was still covered by thick forest and was the rule of King Reman. In 1870, a few hundreds people arrived from Pattani by the Hangai River and cleared the land at the estuary. Nowdays most of the local 
people here some of them can speak 2 leanguage 
Malaysia and Siam.

Alai Villages is one of a  Villages in Gerik which is location 
7 km from the Thailand boders (Betong) located at Pengkalan Hulu where the Malaysia customs, imigration and quarantine 
station is located.


Laksa RM2 
(local said laksa 2 hinggit)

We stop at the famous stall which offers a local dishes known as laksa RM2. There will be 2 supprise offer in this shop:

1. The price of every foods and drinks is super duper cheaps.
2. Huge amount of food and delecious hand made 
from Makcik OTAI.

Castella Cafe

A local cafe situated under a bridge and besides a river bank. 
At that moment only a few visitors hanging there with an activity such as swimming, water rafting and fishing by 
using a water bomb, lucky our motorbike is safely park at the top of the bridge.... phiewww
